Privacy policy
How NitroStay handles your personal information on this website. Last updated 8 November 2026.
Who we are
NitroStay makes booking and front desk software for guesthouses. For this website we are the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect and why
When you join the Founding 50 we collect your name, your property's name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, the number of rooms and the system you use now. We use it only to contact you about NitroStay: to book a call, answer your questions and set up your account. We do not sell it and we do not share it with other businesses for their marketing.
We ask for your consent on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
Where it is kept
Form details are stored with Cloudflare, which runs this website, and only our own team can see them. Cloudflare may process data outside South Africa under its data protection terms. We keep your details for 24 months after we last spoke, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Reply to any message from us, or send the Founding 50 form again with a note, and we will act within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we handled it, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
The NitroStay app
When you use the app, you decide what guest information goes in, and we process it on your behalf, hosted in Johannesburg. The terms for that are part of your NitroStay agreement.
